When we set out to build Subterranean Sound Studio, we had one simple goal. To offer over 30 years of combined recording industry experience in a comfortable, boutique environment.

-Located in the heart of Toronto in a turn of the century Victorian House, Subterranean is just a few minutes walk from Yorkville, Bloor Street West and the Subway.

-The studio features the very best in Vintage and Modern Recording Gear.

-Subterranean is proud to offer one of the most extensive Vintage Analog Synthesizer Rooms in North America. Among the synths included are a Modular Moog 3C, a Mini Moog, an Arp 2600, a VCS3 and a Yamaha CS-80.

-The studio also has in its collection some of the most highly revered amps in music history, including a ’59 Fender Bassman, a ’63 Vox AC-30 and a 1965 Marshall Block Logo Plexi Stack.

-Best of all is that the studio was completely designed and soulfully built by two of its founders, Scott and Zee.
